Our Story
Where it began
It all began with a blind date and the discovery that we shared a love of wine, cheese, sushi, cooking and a proper boogie. We also quickly discovered how much we loved entertaining friends and family, although our guest lists have never shown much respect for the number of people our home can actually accommodate.
We fitted into each other’s lives so naturally that one adventure soon became another: our first tiny-house stay, a two-week road trip to Adelaide, six weeks in Europe and three weeks in South Africa. Jen also made the tactical error of teaching Brad backgammon, a decision she has regretted ever since. Three years after our first date, we became engaged in Daylesford and, one week later, bought our first home. Apparently, when we commit, we commit. Since then, it’s been a happy mix of adventure, laughter, silliness and always being there for each other.
